There is something fascinating that draws us to abandoned and decaying places.  These places were once occupied, however now they are on a standstill in time, forgotten and decaying.  In this series I explored these places, and captured the state in which they were frozen in time. 

 

These places have a story and history that comes with them that can be seen through how they were left.  My goal with the series was to capture these stories, and display the tragic aspects of places that once were; hoping to evoke a sense of nostalgia, while displaying the reality of time and mortality.
